Barbara Golden is an artist formerly based in the San Francisco Bay Area now living in Nova Scotia. Born in Montréal, the escaped housewife-schoolteacher studied at Mills College with Terry Riley, Bob Ashley, and Lou Harrison. From 1985-2020 Golden produced, board operated, and hosted Crack o’ Dawn on KPFA Pacifica Radio.
